As you explore the case studies below, you’ll see how our experience, responsiveness, and attention to detail have made a difference for clients operating in complex, high-demand environments.

HCF Catch Installation

Monarc Services Ltd was proud to support HCF CATCH—the UK’s largest welding and fabrication training provider—on a major investment in the future of engineering skills and apprenticeships.

The project involved the installation and commissioning of 48 welding plants, comprising a combination of Lincoln Electric Powertec i320C and Aspect 300 units.

All equipment was installed in full compliance with BS EN 60974-4 and BS EN 60974-14, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance. As a Lincoln Approved Service Facility (LASF), Monarc Services continues to support HCF CATCH throughout the warranty period and beyond, giving them complete confidence in both their equipment and ongoing service provision.

City of Wolverhampton College (ATAC) Installation

Monarc Services Ltd played a key role in the launch of the City of Wolverhampton College’s new £8.1 million Advanced Technology and Automotive Centre, delivering a full installation and commissioning package for specialist welding equipment.

The project included the deployment of Lincoln Electric Powertec i320C systems and Inverter 275TP units across newly constructed workshop spaces designed for advanced automotive and engineering training. These industry-leading machines support a wide range of applications, from MIG/MAG and TIG welding to multi-process training environments, giving learners access to the tools and technology they’ll encounter in real-world settings.

This installation forms part of the centre’s mission to drive forward the region’s skills base—specifically in fabrication, manufacturing, and electric vehicle (EV) technologies—by equipping the next generation of engineers with modern, reliable equipment that meets today’s industrial standards.
